Porting Representative

We are seeking an exceptional Porting Representative to join our team. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy in data management and process execution, along with effective communication of complex technical information to customers.

This position involves becoming proficient in all aspects of back-office porting operations, handling repetitive data entry tasks, troubleshooting and resolving porting-related issues, following established procedures, adapting to updates or changes, explaining complex technical processes, and adjusting communication style to ensure customer comprehension and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become proficient in all aspects of back-office porting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle repetitive data entry tasks with meticulous focus and organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve porting-related issues by considering multiple perspectives.
  • Follow established procedures and adapt to updates or changes effectively.
  • Clearly explain complex technical processes to customers.
  • Adjust communication style and instructions to ensure customer comprehension and satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related experience, preferably handling porting tasks.
  • Previous experience in customer support or a similar role is required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to approach issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptability to evolving procedures and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
