Investment Paralegal Role Overview

This entry-level Investment Paralegal position provides legal support, requiring a basic understanding of company law matters and experience handling retail funds work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Draft and review routine legal documents relevant to the practice area, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, articles of incorporation, by-laws, board resolutions, and regulatory forms.
  2. Support corporate governance activities, including drafting and executing board resolutions, tracking annual general meetings, and managing regulatory filings.
  3. Prepare initial drafts of less routine legal documents as a starting point for lawyers.
  4. Provide research and analysis support services to lawyers in the designated practice area.
  5. Assist with administrative tasks, maintaining and organizing legal files and records, preparing correspondence, and tracking matter progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of experience as a paralegal or similar role in a corporate law firm or financial institution.
  • Able to adapt to a mid-shift schedule.

  • Strong understanding of company law and its applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
