Job Role: Financial Planning Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled financial planning support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service.

  • Prepare comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
  • Adapt to and learn new financial planning software, with training provided.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial planning support role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
