Job Title: Financial Planning Assistant

The successful candidate will work closely with our advisors in preparing and implementing comprehensive financial plans for clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with advisors to create tailored financial plans for clients based on their unique needs and goals
  • Conduct thorough research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies to provide informed advice
  • Analyze financial needs analysis reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Work with clients to gather necessary information and documents to support the development of their financial plans
  • Attend client meetings with advisors to present and review financial plans, ensuring a seamless client experience

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role in the financial industry is highly desirable
  • Accounting or related experience is considered advantageous
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and advisors
  • Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products, with the ability to understand and interpret complex contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, with the ability to use these tools to analyze data and create reports
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job
