Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

This role is responsible for providing technical assistance to clients via various communication channels.

The ideal candidate will utilize databases to select the best processing method and explain the solution to the client in order to resolve the inquiry. They will maintain an accurate and complete record of all inquiries and problems handled, and operate a personal computer, mainframe, software packages, and front-end programs related to the client.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve client technical support issues relating to point-of-service (POS) products, including dial-up card swipe terminals.
  • Begins to build base knowledge of POS products, policies, customer service procedures, and an understanding of compliance and association guidelines through ongoing training.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • No Relevant Experience Required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
  • Previous customer service experience
Desired Skills and Capabilities:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to develop basic payments industry knowledge
  • Basic ability to research issues and resolve customer inquiries
