Job Title: IT Asset Associate

At Datamatics Careers- Philippines, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Asset Associate to join our team. As an IT Asset Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of IT hardware, software, and related licenses in our asset management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Management: Maintain and update records of IT hardware, software, and related licenses in the asset management system.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Assist in conducting regular audits of IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Asset Deployment and Tracking: Track the location and assignment of IT assets to employees, departments, and locations, and ensure all IT assets are properly tagged, labeled, and recorded in the asset management system upon receipt.
  • Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels of IT assets, ensuring sufficient availability of deployment, and assist in deploying new hardware and software to employees, ensuring proper installation and setup.
  • Asset Disposal and Decommissioning: Manage the return and proper handling of IT assets from terminated or inactive employees or those with retired devices, and assist in the secure and proper disposal of obsolete or damaged IT assets in compliance with company policies and environmental standards.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on IT asset status, usage, and inventory levels to help IT management make informed decisions, and provide data to support financial audits, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
  • Asset Documentation: Maintain detailed records of the lifecycle of IT assets, including purchase dates, warranty periods, and depreciation, and ensure IT asset records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • IT Experience: Atleast 1 year and Up experience in IT (BPO industry is a PLUS).
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing, and advance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) for tracking and reporting.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Good communication and collaboration skills (oral and written), analytical thinking, and time management.
  • IT Service Management Software: Knowledgeable in IT Service Management Software (ITSM), Manage Engine.
