Senior DevOps Engineer - Observability & Reliability Expert

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing monitoring systems, building alerting pipelines, and leading incident response efforts to ensure system uptime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations, with experience in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively under pressure, and work collaboratively across teams.

This is a remote opportunity that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a global team. The selected candidate will receive training on our monitoring and incident management processes and will be expected to contribute to the development of these processes over time.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • Strong scripting skills for automation (Python, TypeScript, Bash)
  • Experience leading incident response processes
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and document learnings
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud environments a plus
