Reliability Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to drive SRE adoption and culture change across our teams and applications. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SRE Adoption: Lead the adoption of SRE practices and principles across teams and applications.
  • Incident Management: Strong knowledge of incident management, on-call practices, and blameless postmortems is required.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is essential.
  • Kubernetes Mastery: Solid expertise with Kubernetes, including scaling, workload optimization, network policies, service mesh, and troubleshooting is required.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with infrastructure as code is necessary.
  • Reliability & Observability: Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing, and the ability to design and implement alerting strategies aligned with SLOs/SLIs is crucial.
  • Automation & Tooling: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (preferably Python) for automation, reliability tooling, and operational improvements is required.
  • Mentorship: Ability to mentor engineers and establish communities of practice around reliability is essential.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience migrating applications to SRE operating models in multi-team/multi-application settings, and certification(s): Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKS, or equivalent is preferred.
