Our company is looking for a skilled Accounting Supervisor to support the monthly accounting close and consolidation process.

About this role

This position will involve maintaining close working relationships with Segment Controllership and Finance teams as well as other departments throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general accounting, supervision of team's responsibilities, and responsible for the close process including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

  • Responsible for the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports
  • Preparation or review of monthly trial balance and Bank reconciliations
  • Responsible in the monthly and annual closing of the books

The successful candidate will have a broad range of skills including leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to drive and support continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures.


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly close and consolidation process.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process.
  • Implement processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA or CPA equivalent preferred
  • At least 7 years of relevant accounting experience, including 2 years in leadership position
