Accounting Leadership Role

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role leads a team in managing month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining internal controls, and assisting with audits and external reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of accurate and complete financial reports for internal management review, highlighting key metrics and variances.
  • General Ledger Management: Supervise the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all accounting entries are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Audit and Compliance: Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available, and providing audit support as needed.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation and computation of tax returns, ensuring accurate tax calculations and proper submission to relevant authorities.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient accounting operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations applicable to the industry.
