Job Description
The Data Analytics Lead will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key clients and facilitating the growth of the Data Analytics project team. This role will lead a team to deliver best-in-class data analytics solutions using primary analytics platform tools. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring consultants, partnering with clients, and driving cross-team collaboration.

This role will also cover oversight of web analytics infrastructure implementation resources and ensuring technical resources are provided proper training and development of their client engagement skills. As the primary manager for this team in DGS-Philippines, this role will support collaboration and coordination between DGS and the N. American-based Merkle Cardinal Path team.

The goal for this role is to ensure Cardinal Path delivers consistently deployed, high-quality, web analytics implementations and other analytics infrastructure while preparing us to scale by developing and executing on a training and mentoring program for delivery team members located in DGS-Philippines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other team members to define and refine our processes and practices for performing analytics implementations.
  • Develop and deliver a training program that allows technical staff to efficiently gain knowledge on performing analytics implementations.
  • Manage a group of technical consultants.
  • Mentor junior team members on successfully executing consulting duties.
  • Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams and develop and document tracking/tagging strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success.
  • Consulting with clients and/or their agencies on projects requiring web analytics platform selection, implementation, and platform remediation.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of software development standards, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in front-end development with skills in JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and JSON.
  • Excellent written skills, in English, for communicating with technical and non-technical users.
  • B.S. Degree: Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • In-depth experience implementing principal analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and/or Amplitude.
  • Knowledge of Single-Page Applications development.
  • Mobile & Cross-Platform development. Work experience with Firebase is a plus.
  • Experience with principal analytics tagging solutions: Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, and/or MetaRouter.
