Process Analytics Engineer Role Overview

The Process Analytics Engineer plays a pivotal role in the Enterprise Projects team, driving process mining and operational analytics initiatives forward. This key position focuses on preparing and transforming operational data for use in process analytics, developing process mining models, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate process mining platforms such as Celonis or comparable tools to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Design and implement process mining models using Celonis or similar tools to optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand operational workflows and data sources, and translate them into event logs to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize process performance, KPIs, and automation opportunities to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Leverage Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline workflows and integrate analytics into business processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and identify process inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and automation opportunities to drive business improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of experience in process mining using Celonis or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in data engineering, including SQL, ETL, and data modeling to design and develop robust data solutions.
  • Experience preparing event logs and operational datasets for analytics to drive business insights.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization to communicate complex data insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to leverage automation and integration capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment and collaborate across global teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions to drive effective project delivery.
  • Ability to ensure data quality, governance, and documentation across analytics initiatives to maintain data integrity and transparency.
