Senior Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned architect to spearhead the design and implementation of data architectures for cloud and hybrid environments. If you're motivated, challenged, and want to work with a team that takes on tough problems together, this might be the right opportunity for you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Developing data architectures to support various data formats and structures, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Prior experience with full life-cycle data warehouse implementations is essential.
  • A strong understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing is necessary.
  • Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win, or similar is highly desirable.
  • The ability to quickly learn, adopt, and apply new technologies will be valuable.
  • Data profiling and creation of source to target mappings will also be key responsibilities.
  • Provisioning and configuring Azure data service resources will be another aspect of this role.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Developing data architectures to support a variety of data formats and structures.
  • Prior experience with full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • A strong understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing.
  • Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win, or similar.

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Mastery of Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous.
  • Experience creating strategies to migrate customers from on-premise environments to Azure could be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and semantic modeling could also be valuable.
