Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and maintain scalable, reliable and secure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud architectures and be proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM and more.

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will drive cloud strategy and ensure efficient and secure operation of cloud-based systems. If you are passionate about cloud technologies, automation and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Skills: Develop and maintain automated pipelines integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Containers: Manage and support Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  • Observability: Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions and use CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events/Alarms, syslogs and other cloud analytics tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate tasks using IaC with tools like Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Release Management: Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Security: Apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure.
  • IT Operations: Strong troubleshooting, server resource management and database knowledge SQL and NoSQL; experience with Linux and Windows servers.
  • Automation: Scripting and automation using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch and SNS for event-driven patterns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes and container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security and compliance.
  • Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools.
  • IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management and network troubleshooting DNS, SSL domains.
  • System administration skills Apache/Nginx configuration OS updates patching.
  • Strong scripting skills Python, Node.js.
  • Ability to write clear documentation Confluence.
