About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with a strong background in cloud data platforms to lead our team. This position requires hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining complex data solutions using cloud services, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of data solutions on cloud data platforms, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with service providers during solution implementation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud data services, particularly data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based ETL tools.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, including working with data from enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability across all stages of the ETL lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
  • Apply data management principles, including data architecture and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on cloud data platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Cloud data warehouses
  • Cloud-based ETL tools
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms.
  • Relevant certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based programming languages.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with data management principles is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
