Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear framework for finance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate policies and procedures exist for financial management across various offices.
  • Review and approve finance policies and procedures for consistency.
  • Communicate new or updated policies to stakeholders.
  • Advise on finance policy interpretation and application.
Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and ensure adherence to a clear finance policy framework.
  • Prepare new policies and amendments based on external research and stakeholder feedback.
  • Implement a robust review process for all finance policies and procedures.
Effective Communication:
  • Develop a clear communication framework for new and updated policies.
  • Provide timely written communications to stakeholders.
  • Update our intranet site as the central repository of policies and procedures.
Strategic Support:
  • Advise colleagues on finance policy interpretation and implementation.
  • Support other departments in developing and reviewing policies and procedures.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Seek opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements using technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Law, or Communications.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business process analysis, project management, and process improvement.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in policy development, procedure guidelines, training materials, or stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborative work experience and excellent stakeholder management skills.
