  • The manager performs collection activities on overdue invoices and implements effective dunning procedures.
  • Credit checks are conducted on new and existing customers to assess risk accurately.
  • The Collection and Credit Operations Manager monitors debtor balances to reduce DSO and % Current rates.
  • This role ensures that all working processes comply with the Global Credit Policy and Level of Authority documents.
  • The manager ensures that business processes operate effectively to maintain a high level of fiscal compliance.
  • Timely collection of current and overdue receivables is ensured through accurate and efficient processes.
  • The manager reviews and monitors credit limits in compliance with the Global Credit Policy and communicates these credit limits with relevant regions.
  • Regular analysis and advice on local portfolios, including the A/R report, are provided to minimize losses.
  • The Collection and Credit Operations Manager advises on credit risk-related processes and services to drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in accounting and credit collections.
  • Strong determination to meet tight deadlines is essential.
  • Natural ability to work confidently in complex business environments is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary.
  • Prompt communication with other departments is crucial.
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently is desired.
  • Strong presence and credibility are highly valued.
  • Fluency in another foreign language, specifically Bahasa Malaysia, is required.
  • Inquisitive, pro-active and precise nature is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel for reporting purposes is expected.
