IT Support Specialist Role Overview

The IT Support Specialist I position plays a pivotal role in empowering tech talent to build high-performing teams. As part of our organization's mission, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our global workforce during the night shift hours.

Key qualifications for this role include 1-2+ years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support capacity, accompanied by basic troubleshooting expertise with macOS and Windows operating systems. Additionally, familiarity with common enterprise IT tools and platforms, such as Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, and remote support tools, is highly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Initial hardware, software, and network issue resolution for Mac and Windows users.
  • Assistance with basic issues related to Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar), Active Directory, Okta, GTM (Go to Market) Applications like Salesforce and other company standard applications.
  • Supporting users with basic conferencing setups, primarily Zoom, Google Meet.

This role requires working independently and managing time effectively during the night shift. Experience with ticketing systems like Jira is preferred, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundations are also desirable. The successful candidate will be willing to work the night shift schedule and attend occasional in-person training or team events in various locations.
