About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of cost planning, measurement, and change management for all internal works on a flagship apartment building project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for bulk measures and tracking of finishes including carpet, timber flooring, tiling, painting, wall finishes, and doors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake bulk measurement of all internal works to establish accurate baseline quantities.
  • Manage ongoing cost tracking and variation assessments as apartment configurations and designs change.
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
  • Use CostX to measure and manage quantities.
  • Interpret and verify architectural and engineering drawings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Significant experience in Australian construction and quantity surveying/estimation for residential projects.
  • Expertise in estimating software such as CostX / Bluebeam / Planswift.
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
