Solutions Architect | Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or SaaS architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure solutions that meet client needs. They will also collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless product delivery and long-term client success.

This is a remote-first role based in APJ, with potential for limited international travel for company-wide events and collaboration.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to turn complex technical topics into clear business value.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Learning & Development (L&D) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with potential clients, providing strategic business and technical guidance on implementing Degreed solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrations, configurations, and product capabilities.
  • Support Sales by answering technical questions and handling solution presentations.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions showcasing Degreed's capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Background in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or SaaS architecture.
  • Solid experience with cloud computing, integration technologies, and security protocols.
  • Experience engaging with clients and leading technical discussions.
