Advanced Technical Support Role

This advanced technical support role requires an experienced IT professional to provide expert-level assistance and troubleshooting for end-user devices, software applications, and company infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to End User Devices and Company Infrastructure.
  • Follow established procedures including response time, escalation, communication, and documentation.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to avoid customer frustration or long resolution times during working hours.
  • Configure networks during client onboarding or project work.
  • Collaborate with vendor technical support to resolve issues or implement new solutions.
  • Implement Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions as needed.
  • Respond to infrastructure issues discovered by the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Document and improve department processes.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, and Systems Administration.
  • Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools.
  • End User Support / Desktop Support: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment, Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Support of Cloud products: Office 365, SharePoint / OneDrive, Azure, Google.
  • Systems Administration: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms and Active Directory.
  • Basic Exchange Server, Basic SQL Server.
  • Support of Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) Products: Veeam, Azure, Local Network Attached Storage (NAS).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Firewalls.
