Job Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.

QuickBooks and Xero Experience: Utilize QuickBooks and Xero software to manage financial transactions, track expenses, and generate financial reports.

Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial activities.

Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in accounting and finance.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience as an accountant/bookkeeper.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
