Dental Claims Specialist Role

As a Dental Claims Specialist, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing support to our clients while upholding our commitment to quality and integrity.

  • Claims Management: Follow-up status of outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated by adding notations to the patient's account.">
  • Claim Submission: Send out claims and attachments to insurance, determining denial validity and addressing them accordingly.">
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate OI reports, ensure monthly completion, and identify any insurance process updates or issues.">
  • Claim Resolution: Claim resubmission and reprocessing, including grievance and appeals, clear rejected claims on a weekly basis, and update the office tracker.">
  • Payment Processing: Generate EFT reports, retrieve EOBs from insurance portals, and post payments according to office preference.">
  • Communication: Identify insurance process updates/issues, communicate findings with the team, remain professional at all times, and adhere to work time schedules.">
  • Performance Expectations: Expected to hit desired goals, accomplish tasks in a timely manner, and communicate with managers in the absence of attendance issues.">

  • Linguistic Skills: Strong command of verbal and written English, as well as interpersonal skills with minimal accent.">
  • Industry Background: Background in the Dental insurance or collections industries.">
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on collections experience.">
  • Perspective and Organizational Skills: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a remote position, and possess outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.">
