Job Title: Treatment Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments and follow-up visits, optimizing office resources.
- Communicate treatment details to patients, addressing questions or concerns.
The Virtual Treatment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient care and coordination. This position is responsible for serving as the main point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures.
Essential Skills:- Manage and update patient appointment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient treatment progression.
- Confirm appointments and assist with rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure smooth workflow and availability.
Maintain professionalism and empathy in all patient interactions, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
Requirements:- Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and pre-authorizations for treatments.
- Assist patients with understanding their financial obligations.
- Work with billing departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and patient payments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, analytical, research and organizational skill sets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
