Plant Building Utilities Technician

As a Plant Building Utilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, troubleshoot, and conduct repairs of refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, power systems, steam systems, and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mechanical technical services necessary for the installation of production, utility, and other support equipment.
  • Gather equipment specifications such as model, serial number, power rating, etc., and compile all necessary data that will be used in the preparation of preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories.
  • Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance, including condition monitoring, and prepare graphical presentations for benchmarking and analysis.
  • Perform corrective maintenance, technical analysis of equipment failures, installation of mechanical equipment, and execute load testing, ensuring compliance with company rules, SOPs, and maintenance program enhancements.
  • Implement and/or provide suggestions for continuous improvement of equipment in the production line to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure that all operating systems are in tip-top operating condition.
  • Prioritize safety in your area, ensuring the safety of personnel, materials, products, equipment, tools, and other company properties to prevent Lost Time Accidents.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • A graduate of any Engineering course, preferably Industrial Technology.
  • With at least six (6) months of experience in any manufacturing industry.
  • Must have experience in Operations, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance on two (2) or all of the following fields: Conveyor System, Steam Boilers and Auxiliaries, Compressed Air System, Waste Water Treatment Facility & Water Treatment Facility.
  • Must have experience and be able to do Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Works.
  • Knowledgeable in maintenance work related to production and utility equipment, preferably in a food manufacturing company.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20kg of weight.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and a high level of stress tolerance.
  • Must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.
