Customer Support Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused technical support specialist to provide first-level support for technical issues in our contact center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to technical support calls, emails, or chats from customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
  • Provide step-by-step solutions and product configurations to customers through clear communication and patience.
  • Evaluate the need for escalated issues and escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support teams as needed.
  • Document all interactions and solutions in our ticketing system to ensure seamless follow-up and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on products, services, and system updates to maintain expert knowledge and deliver informed solutions to customers.
  • Achieve performance targets related to resolution time, customer satisfaction, and accuracy by prioritizing tasks effectively and leveraging available resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles in a contact center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, browsers, and common software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
