Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Director to oversee the implementation of our quality policy at Colas Rail - Asia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all quality-related activities are in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and contractual requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance System:
    • Develop and implement a quality assurance system that aligns with international standards.
    • Establish a project quality plan that ensures compliance with contractual requirements.
    • Review and revise inspection and test plans to ensure quality control.
  • Quality Control Activities:
    • Conduct site inspections to verify quality of work against project quality plan.
    • Develop method statements, inspection and testing plans, and checklists to ensure quality control.
    • Monitor the implementation of the project quality and environmental plan.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate quality assurance records and conduct regular inspections.
    • Prepare and submit site inspection reports and close-out reports.
    • Coordinate and maintain a non-conformance control system.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Audit and monitor QA and environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness.
    • Ensure section personnel are aware of QA requirements and arrangements.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Verify all quality-related activities comply with relevant codes and standards.
    • Ensure QA/QC control measures and procedures are documented, implemented, and auditable.
