Chief Financial Strategist

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role involves leading budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.
This position partners with senior leadership to provide financial insights, drive process improvements, and implement automation using tools like NetSuite and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes by analyzing financial performance and variances, and providing recommendations to leadership for decision-making.
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, ROI modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to align financial planning with business strategy.
- Manage commissions processes, sales pipeline reporting, and prequalification analysis in collaboration with Sales.
- Partner with IT to implement automation and enhanced financial reporting using NetSuite, Power BI, and dashboards.
- Prepare and present concise financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Support month-end close activities to ensure alignment of actuals with budget and forecast.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis, ideally in a leadership or senior-level role.
- Experienced in using ERP and analytics tools (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI).
- CPA or MBA certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership presence and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.
