Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating order processing, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of warehouse staff.

A key responsibility of this role will be to implement process improvements, utilizing data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This may involve identifying areas for cost savings, streamlining workflows, and implementing new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate and efficient management of inventory, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate order processing and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Manage logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
