
Healthcare Claims Specialist

A medical billing professional plays a pivotal role in healthcare facilities by efficiently processing claims to insurance companies.
Daily responsibilities involve reviewing data from medical coders, verifying insurance coverage, and resolving denied claims. A key aspect of the job is assisting patients with billing inquiries and managing inbound and outbound calls regarding patient information and appointments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage phone interactions with patients, including appointment scheduling and data verification
- Assist with claim denials, follow-ups, and resubmitting corrected claims
- Record and verify explanation of benefits statements
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, insurance verification, follow-ups, and collections for outstanding balances and receivables
- Prior experience in US Healthcare Claims Customer Service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service experience in Insurance Billing
- HIPAA Certification is advantageous
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Impartiality and ability to work independently
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
- Strong work attitude and willingness to exceed expectations
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and industry standards, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
