Job Title: Business Proposal Writer

We are seeking an experienced business proposal writer to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing winning proposals. This role involves managing multiple proposals simultaneously, reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs), capturing win themes, and collaborating with technology partners on content creation.

You will work closely with our Sales Team and Proposal Managers to ensure that proposals are client-centric, responsive, and compliant with RFP requirements. We're looking for someone who can understand client/prospect challenges and goals and address those items in the response.

  • Draft, review, and edit proposal responses, executive summaries, and supporting materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strategic positioning.
  • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, compliance, and clarity, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage existing and moderate new content in the Responsive content library in collaboration with SMEs and departments.
  • Manage proposal timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure on-time submission while balancing concurrent deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Help the Proposal Manager manage an integrated pursuit team to meet schedules and deadlines, assessing solicitation requirements and other proposal elements.
  • Maintain close working relationships with all RFx team members and internal stakeholders to generate high-quality proposals.
  • Define win strategies, themes, discriminators, key messages, and other pertinent proposal content.
  • Communicate proposal development and production schedules, monitoring risks and developing mitigation plans.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in proposal development, preferably with APMP certification.
  • Familiarity with proposal software and MS Office Suite, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
  • Proven writing, editing, and proofing skills, with experience working on remote teams.
  • Familiarity with contact center technology, professional services, or cloud hyperscalers/platform leaders is a plus.
