Strategic Partnership Development Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Strategic Partnership Development Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners, driving business growth, and increasing market share.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with IHV companies at all levels
  • Grow awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu among IHV partners
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms with IHV partners
  • Understand the organizational structures and cultures of large and complex organizations

Regular travel may be required to drive partnerships in person.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles
  • Ability to capture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, and identify opportunities
  • Passionate about Ubuntu products and mission
  • Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on mentality
