Senior Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices. They'll be proficient in modern technologies and always eager to learn new tools and frameworks. Our Senior Software Engineers partner closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, data-driven features that empower our users to understand and improve employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive the development of high-quality software solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and IT Security teams to ensure our platform is robust, scalable, and upholds the highest standards for data privacy and security.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure the success of our customers.
  • Continuously champion high quality software engineering practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience developing and scaling web applications, preferably in SaaS and cloud-based environment.
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL or similar relational databases (non-relational databases a plus)
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes for building distributed systems, Android applications, and/or e-commerce platforms
  • Self-driven to tackle challenges head-on and achieve goals
  • Able to troubleshoot complex systems problems, debug, and find root causes
  • Excel at working in small, dynamic, and fast-paced groups
