Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve architecting and running OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage systems, as well as implementing devsecops practices for applications running on these infrastructures.

The successful candidate will have experience with Python software engineering and a strong background in operations. They will be responsible for operating cloud environments with hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud estates.

We are looking for someone who approaches operations as a science, relying on metrics and code to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and run OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage systems.
  • Implement devsecops practices for applications running on these infrastructures.
  • Operate cloud environments with hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud estates.
  • Approach operations as a science, relying on metrics and code to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
  • Python software development expertise.
  • Operational experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
