Disaster Relief Call Center Representative Job Opportunity

This is a temporary, remote position to support disaster relief efforts. As a call center representative, you will be assisting customers with service inquiries and providing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to type swiftly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with service inquiries
  • Learn common requests and solutions
  • Improve customer experience
  • Utilize service techniques and systems
  • Escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels

Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted on an as-needed basis. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
