Mortgage professionals play a vital role in facilitating smooth and efficient loan transactions. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire loan lifecycle from origination through closing.

Key aspects of this position include managing loan files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve timely and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan File Management
  • Gathering and verifying financial and personal documentation such as credit reports, tax returns, and bank statements.
  • Preparing and submitting loan packages to underwriting for approval.
  • Coordinating with loan officers, underwriters, clients, title companies, and other third-party vendors.
  • Ensuring all required documentation meets internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Tracking and updating loan status in the system, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Resolving documentation or credit issues and requesting additional information when necessary.
  • Scheduling and preparing closing documents in coordination with the closing team.
  • Maintaining accurate records and files in accordance with company policies and auditing requirements.
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems (MyCRM, Mercury, Infynity, Apply Online, Quickli, PropertyHub).
  • Proficiency in income verification of PAYG/Self Employed Income.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in loan processing or mortgage broking.
