Project Finance Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to build and enhance financial models, analyze budget-to-actual variances, and provide actionable recommendations to drive business growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.
  • Analyze project-level budget-to-actual variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams.
  • Highlight and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets, leading to improved results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reporting packages and deliverables for investors and lenders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Build data infrastructure that enables the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and energy production.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework.
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
