Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the operations and construction activities at our project sites from project awarding to turnover.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction project activities to meet deadlines, preparing and overseeing the project budget, and ensuring that all operating expenses are monitored and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
  • Prepare and oversee the project budget
  • Monitor and ensure that all operating expenses are within budget
  • Provide technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, or program modifications or structural repairs
  • Conduct construction inspections and review the integrity of the structure, recommending corrective action to avoid cumulative effects of deviation and recover delay to finish the task in time
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using computer models
  • Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations or establish reference points, grades, or elevations to guide construction
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 8 years of work experience in a managerial position
  • Experience in ports and harbor (reclamation works, construction wharfs, and pile driving works) is an advantage
  • The ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
