Job Title: Presales Engineer\Component Job Description:
  • We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a presales engineer specializing in network and security solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support to both sales teams and customers, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • The role involves collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and proposing network and security-based solutions. This includes creating and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, designing scalable and efficient architectures that meet customer needs, and assisting in the development of bill of materials.
  • Validating Palo Alto network configurations is also an essential duty of this role, along with acting as a trusted advisor for both customers and sales teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs. Additionally, staying up-to-date on new Palo Alto network features, trends, and competitive landscapes is crucial.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with at least one year of related experience in a similar environment is required. Previous experience in presales engineering, preferably within network and security solutions, is preferred.
  • Strong English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, along with good listening and comprehension skills, are necessary for this role. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Palo Alto Networks products, including next-generation firewalls (NGFW), Prisma Cloud, Cortex XDR, and other related security technologies, are mandatory. Strong knowledge and understanding of network security principles, threat landscapes, and cybersecurity frameworks are also required.
