About the Role:

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to clients through accurate, timely, and efficient full-service accounting. This includes quality assurance reviews, client relationship management, and account maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: The specialist will assist in coding all transactions from each bank or credit card account according to written processes.
  • Bank Account Reconciliations: Assist with end-of-month reconciliation process for assigned clients.
  • Credit Card Reconciliations: Perform reconciliation of credit cards for assigned clients.
  • Monthly Financial Review: Write emails to clients regarding routine income or expenses not recorded, cross-check financial statements, and respond to client questions.
  • Payroll Recording: Record payroll transactions for clients based on Labor Allocation Reports and supporting documentation.
  • Accounting Cleanup: Assist with clean-up and review of revenue coding, payroll, balance sheet accounts, and other tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • Background in Accounting: Proven understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Software Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, experience in Quickbooks Online (QBO), and familiarity with NARPM Standard Chart of Accounts.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong written communication, excellent problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to understand new concepts with support.
