Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage our end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including processing payments, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, including identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial statements and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including auditing and regulatory requirements.
- Improve collection rates and optimize cash flow by analyzing data and implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
- Proficient in Xero or similar accounting software.
- Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, reports).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiar with audit prep, regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS), and cash flow forecasting.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams like Operations, Sales, and Customer Support.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, process building, and using tech tools to automate workflows.
