Job Title: Insurance Portfolio Strategist

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will be responsible for providing strategic direction to insurance portfolios, driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage renewal portfolios and new business targets to achieve set goals.
  • Monitor and review underwriting standards, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and intermediaries.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of current legislation, best practices, underwriting systems, products, and organisational guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with colleagues and onshore nurses to achieve portfolio retention, growth, and profitability targets.
  • Deliver timely decisions and solutions for customers and intermediaries.
  • Foster positive working relationships with onshore nurses.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Moderate experience in insurance sales or underwriting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
