Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Strategy & Prioritization
    • Develop well-reasoned test strategies considering product risks and customer needs.
    • Prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.
  • Manual & Exploratory Testing
    • Manage test cases and execute them effectively.
    • Analyze requirements, business risks, and consider edge cases.
  • Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency
    • Demonstrate expertise in web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, and testing.
    • Perform database data and query analysis for deeper issue investigation.
    • Conduct API testing and logs analysis.
  • Self-Sufficiency & Decision-Making
    • Exhibit independent problem-solving skills and ask the right questions to refine assumptions.
    • Makes decisions based on business and technical contexts.
    • Identify gaps and propose solutions proactively.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration
    • Effectively manage test cases and contribute to improving test management processes.
    • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.
