Software Developer Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled Software Developer to contribute to the development of open source software and operating systems.

The Role
  • Develop high-quality code for open source products and commercial business systems, utilizing programming languages such as Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap through global sprints every six months.
  • Engage with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue trackers, fostering strong relationships and driving growth.
  • Acquire skills and awareness of security in software design and implementation, ensuring secure solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various technologies, including Ubuntu and other Linux distributions. You will have the chance to work from home, collaborate with colleagues globally, and participate in twice-yearly team sprints in person.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline with programming courses.
  • Confidence in delivering high-quality code in one of the mentioned programming languages.
  • Experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution.
