Job Description:

This position requires a strong background in Computer Science or related field, experience with Linux and open-source software, and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C, or C++. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex customer problems, working closely with the Field, Support, and product engineering teams, participating in upstream communities, developing bug fixes, backporting patches, and collaborating with upstream developers for inclusion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
  • Experience with Linux and open-source software, including knowledge of the kernel, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C, or C++ on Linux.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
