Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, as well as identifying and mitigating potential security threats.

This is a remote opportunity that requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies. If you have a passion for information security and data security, and a strong background in networking and cybersecurity, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems, as well as in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other leading firewall platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure network architectures
  • Identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Administer firewall platforms, ensuring proper functioning, software updates, and patch management
  • Configure, manage, and maintain firewall devices and related security infrastructure
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats
Requirements
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies
  • Significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other leading firewall platforms
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills
