Job Description

We're seeking an experienced security professional to join our team in a challenging role that requires technical expertise and strong analytical skills.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing client security systems, responding to security incidents, and performing security maturity and posture assessments.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is driven, devoted to continuous learning and improvement, and passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in security analysis and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, network security systems, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Responding to and managing security incidents, including incident investigations, malware detections, and zero-day vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring and researching evolving security threats and providing detailed analysis for security communication with clients.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and providing recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Assisting clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.
  • Performing security maturity and posture assessments against client environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud Security, Email Security Solutions, Network Security devices and platforms, Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Incident Management and Reporting, enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze security breaches and trace sources of attacks.
  • Familiarity with SOC compliance standards and experience with SOC compliance assessments.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other related certifications are preferred.
