Expert AR Collector Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AR Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue cycles and ensuring timely collections. Key responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes.
  • Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and payment posting issues.
  • Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Utilize industry-leading EMR systems to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
  • Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
  • Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in using industry-leading EMR systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.
Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare AR collections is required.
