Job Description:

Collaborate with engineering partners to deliver quality drafter services. Provide expert support to customers and contribute to maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize GIS to research and recreate plats or surveys, ensuring timely agency submittals.
  2. Develop site layout options, generate lot-specific drawings, and revise plan documents for efficient access.
  3. Offer on-site support to builders and facilitate permitting by liaising with city/county staff.
  4. Prioritize producing address-specific plans within set deadlines, update the plan library, and execute SPR drafting tasks.
  5. Field questions, update distributed work, and analyze drawings to jurisdictional reviewers as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of drafting experience.
  • Residential construction or home remodeling drafting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with building codes and permitting standards in WA and OR advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong internet research skills and customer service skills essential.
