Risk Management and Compliance Leader

Governance, risk management and compliance play a vital role in ensuring the security posture of any organization. As a governance, risk management and compliance specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development, delivery, and improvement of services.
Duties and Responsibilities- Compliance Management: Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance programs and initiatives to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, and assist in developing mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, review, and update information security policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Audits and Assessments: Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits and assessments, and help manage and follow up on remediation of findings.
- Security Awareness: Contribute to security awareness and training programs to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities regarding compliance and security.
- Identity & Access Management: Contribute to the Identity & Access Management function by ensuring secure access to business applications and administering our main identity provider.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and reports related to compliance and risk management activities, and prepare and present reports to management and relevant stakeholders on compliance and risk status.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field (certifications like CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO/IEC 27001 are a plus).
- 2–5 years of experience in information security, governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
- Hands-on experience developing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining a risk register.
- Familiarity with frameworks and regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS 2, and DORA.
- Experience supporting Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes and delivering security awareness initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certifications.
- Proficiency in IT service management tools, including ticketing systems and project management software.
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) solutions.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) systems and technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
